1 - Buy essence from Bob @ ::skill, or home

2 - talk to the mage of zamorak in level 5 wilderness just north of edgeville

3 - enter the abyss and click one of these; chop tendrils, mine rock, distract eyes, squeeze through gap, burn boils.
you dont need anything for these, they won't fail

4 - click on the air rune teleport spot found below

5 - get to 40 rc anyway possible ( i did air runes til 40 ) but you may want to make fire runes or something.


6 - east of the edgeville bank use the astral altar

7 - 40-99 do astral runes, its the fastest exp to 99

A little suggestion, maybe add that while doing Astrals. You can use noted Rune Ess on Booth for quick banking.
