In-Game Rules
We will NOT allow you to ruin other players gaming experience with us. You are responsible for being aware of the rules. If you are punished, it is under the assumption you have read and agreed to these rules. It's not an excuse to say 'I didn't know that was a rule'. Just because something is not listed in the rules, does not mean you cannot be punished for it. These rules are subject to change without notice, and these rules pertain to in-game. Please note that no punishment is permanent no matter the severity as long as you cooperate with the staff handling your situation. On the other hand, no cooperation from your side will lead to a severe punishment. You have been warned. We will only give so many chances for a player to come clean and be honest, any arguing, flaming or disrespect towards the staff handing the issue will increase the length of the punishment you may receive, whilst being courteous and helpful in some cases may reduce the length.

1. Racism, Religious Intolerance, and General Flaming
Throughout the Community we each have varying religious, cultural, and political backgrounds. Everyone within the Forgotten Paradise Community is entitled to the respect of all members of the community no matter their own personal backgrounds and everyone should always strive to follow the code of conduct. The sole purpose of this community is the entertainment of our users that we in turn wish to provide to everyone that joins us here. Reports submitted by a Community Member against another Community Member will be in-turn followed up for action by our Moderation Team. Reports from one Staff Member against another will be followed up for action by our Administration Team. We ask that you all remember that different members within Forgotten Paradise have different types of upbringings, emotional responses to flaming, and may take things differently than what another person may take as a joke. It's your responsibility to be mindful of what you're saying to others, and it's our responsibility to ensure that all members have the opportunity to experience an unhindered and RSPS to play. With this in mind, we will enforce strict but equally fair rules against such acts of flaming and disrespect towards community members. Additionally if you are found being racist or religiously intolerant towards others you will face reprise from our Moderation and Administration teams, and the severity of the punishment will be determined by the Moderator or Administrator assigned to the report. Appeals may be made both on the Forums or to one of the Administrators within the Community.
Racism, Religious Intolerance, and General Flaming could be defined as anything including, but not limited to:
a. This could be anything that may pose an insult to someone based on their religious beliefs, culture or race.
b. Use of exceedingly offensive and vulgar words to any fellow player, or the continued harassment on a player after having been asked to stop by that player.
c. Derogatory racial/discriminatory comments or the use of racial/discriminatory slang (Use of Hard "R" or improper use of the word "Nigga" Example: "Go pick cotton nigga or the use of "faggot/fag" in a vulgar or derogatory fashion)
d. Comments relating to illnesses, disabilities, gender, and political opinions
e. Sexual preferences
Punishment:
1st offence= Warning(s) or 600 - 3600s mute
2nd offence= 600s - 7200s mute
3rd offence= 7200s - 12000s mute
(Note: While warning or muting will always be the Moderator/Administrator’s first choice, certain situations and prior punishment history may result in a higher punishment being awarded depending on severity of the issue: MAC Mute, Player Ban, MAC Ban or the skipping of previous offense levels)2. Advertisement
Advertising other RSPSs, Real World Trading Sites, ect. is strictly prohibited within the Forgotten Paradise Community. We ask that you do not announce other active server names anywhere within our public areas (Community Discord, Forums, or the on our In-Game Server).
Punishment:
1st offence= Verbal Warning
2nd offence= 600s mute
3rd offence= 1800s mute

Spamming can be from text (Yell Chat - Public Chat - Private Message), trading, casting spells or anything else flooding a member, Moderator, or Administrator’s chat. We ask that you do not intentionally spam if possible as our Staff Team may be trying to assist our Community Members within the various chats.
a. Auto-Typers: If you are using an autotyper, please keep it above 10 seconds per message.
b. Trolling, Flame-baiting, or Flaming
c. Use of any autotyping software is strictly prohibited whilst in the ::market area or immediate vicinity, we have the ::advert command for advertising
Punishment:

Hacking, links to illegal 3rd Party Software, and Misleading links are not at any time permitted anywhere within the Forgotten Paradise Community. Equally threatening behavior against any of our Community Members with illegal acts of hacking, DDoSing/DoSing or privacy invasion will not be tolerated in any way and will be met with swift reprisal from our Moderation and Administration Team with our strictest punishments being awarded to help protect our members from these acts.
Punishment:
1st offence= Instant Permanent Ban, MAC Ban, Discourage, Forum Ban, Discord Ban/Removal
5. Punishment Evasion
Those who evade their mutes, bans, IP bans to cause more problems after being punished will be dealt with harsher treatment. (Punishment evasion is not serving the punishment you were given on an account, such as being muted on your main and using an alternate account to talk/continue the same issue). However, if your using an alternate account to communicate in a calm and respectful manner with staff, we will allow this for the only purpose of asking why, duration of punishment, and where to appeal it.
a. Obtaining a punished account whether it was given to you, using for a service, etc, may lead to you getting banned/muted. Always be cautious when using other players accounts. Remember, account sharing is at your own risk including accounts you log into.
Punishment:
Those who choose to evade, will be subject to longer, more severe punishments.

We will not tolerate cheating of ANY kind. Items/Skills that are obtained using these means will likely be deleted and removed from the economy. This includes "Vote Botting" (the use of VPN services to gain excessive votes).
a. Autoclicking is allowed on ONE account as long as you're not "AFK", which means autoclicking and not being at your computer watching. If you're at your computer autoclicking that is allowed, but if you are NOT watching it's a jailable offense. Rather you went to make dinner, or any other reason, you will be treated as an AFKer if you are AFK.
b. Gaining any form of xp or items while afk is NOT permitted. Please be aware that we will assume your are botting/autoclicking.
Punishment:
1st offence= Reset in the botted skill + Warning
2nd offence= Reset in the botted skill+jail until key is acquire
3rd offence= Complete account reset+1 week account ban
(Note: While muting will always be the Moderator/Administrator’s first choice, certain situations and prior punishment history may result in a higher punishment being awarded depending on severity of the issue: MAC Mute, Player Ban, MAC Ban)8. Real World Trading (RS3,07,PayPal, etc)
Purchasing, selling, trading goods, or services (FPGP for RSGP, PayPal, Selling accounts, etc) will not be tolerated and action will be taken against accounts that take part in RWT. You the player are liable to not only have your items removed by a Staff Member, but are also liable to have your payment methods compromised while utilizing service sites offering RWT services.
a. Purchasing or Selling of any account will not be allowed on the server or forums (This includes Buying/Selling accounts with in-game money).
b. Selling, Buying, or Trading FPGP for any other currency such as PayPal, RuneScape, other servers, etc will NOT be tolerated.
c. Players are not allowed to trade nor attempt to trade between servers, runescape, or real world, any instance of this will be handled swiftly with a ban and reset of account/removal of items.
The only allowed method is to speak to an admin in-game, and they will inform you of the options available.
Punishment:
1st offence= 1 week ban and clearing of items involved in RWT
2nd offence= 1 month ban clearing of items involved in RWT
3rd offence= perm ban account deletion.

9. Bug/Glitch Abuse
If you find a bug or glitch that could result in a player receiving an unfair advantage (extra resources, faster EXP, or item drops, Etc.) please report it immediately to our Development Team, DO NOT report these types of bugs openly as other players may have an opportunity to learn of the glitch/bug and utilize it further.
a. Players caught in violation of this rule or who actively profit or gain from utilizing such glitches/bugs will have their gained resources/EXP or benefits removed from the game and can even be muted or banned entirely depending on the severity of the bug. This is entirely at the Staff Team's discretion.
b. If you find a bug and do not report it to us, and then you are found using it or a report is made regarding you bug abusing your account will be liable to receive a punishment being awarded to your account.
Punishment:
1st offence= ::jail until they get a key
2nd offence= Ban for 1 week
3rd offence = Account reset

10. Player Vs. Player (PvP)
We WILL NOT be held responsible for members who have been killed or disconnected. Please keep this in mind and enter the wilderness entirely at your own risk.
a. PVP-Farming will be dealt with harshly. (this refers to giving free kills, paying for kills, paying for kill related achievements.)
a. 1. This can also refer to paying clans or players to 'stack' minigames for wins such as funpk for the achievement or castlewars/soulwars for tickets.
b. Luring of any kind to a staff member is not tolerated and will result in the immediate deletion of your character. Please respect our staff and allow them to do their jobs without being impeded.
c. Ragging: Attacking players with 0-1-2-3 items to rag them is not allowed anywhere in the wild.
You may rag with enough risk where your opponent can gain pkp, if they are unable to gain pkp from killing you then it is not allowed.
c. 1. Constant tele-blocking without attacking afterwards is not allowed as well. This can refer to teleblocking a player then tellying out with no intent to fight them, rather annoy them or others.
c.2. Entering Edgeville wilderness to only use special attack and then teleport/running out instantly will not be tolerated (This includes any area below level 20 wilderness). This is a form of harassment that is punishable. Also, the only form of rushing allowed, is if you continue attacking the player you've rushed.
d. Blackmailing will not be tolerated in any form, given the situation punishment can range from a mute to a permanent ban.
e. Multi-logging in the wilderness is strictly prohibited under level 20 wilderness. Logging into a maximum of two accounts over level 20 wilderness is legal, as long as it's not to kill a boss (A player can have 2 accounts at wildywyrm as long as only 1 account is attacking the boss. If the boss is under level 20 wilderness, you may only have 1 account attacking it as per our rule).
f. Luring is not allowed, failure to follow this rule will result in an immediate jail, followed by a punishment decision at the staff-members discretion.
g. Walking on top of someone else's fight, performing any type of Emote on top of them will result in an immediate jail punishment, followed by a punishment decision at the staff-members discretion
Punishment:
Varies according to the Severity of the situation.

11. VPN Voting
Using a VPN to vote is not allowed and if you are caught doing it you will be wiped with whatever you have earned and punished accordingly.
a. You may ONLY vote once every 12 hours, regardless of how many accounts you have, how many ip's/mac addresses you may have.
Punishment:
1st offence= Clearing of gained cash/votes
2nd offence= Ban with appeal
3rd offence= Perm Ban

12. Requesting from Staff
Giving players an unfair advantage over others is not acceptable as we strive to provide an equal and fair gaming experience to ALL users.
a. Requesting Items
b. Requesting a Staff Position
c. Spamming staff to buy an item, or give you free items is also not allowed as it takes their attention away from issues that may require their focus

13. Backseat Moderation
Please allow our staff to do their job, if you do not agree with the way a staff member is handling a certain situation please come to an upper staff member. Be sure to get as much evidence as possible. It is NOT acceptable to openly slander or be-little any staff member of our team publicly.
This can include situations such as, but not limited too.
a. Having a conversation with other players how 'bad' a staff-member is publicly, or encouraging them to do so.
b. Making accusations publicly about staff without any proof of them doing it (video proof submitted in the report a staff-member section)
c. Threatening players or staff with punishments, such as mutes, jail, bans. An example could be ''good luck on ban kid''
d. Making suggestions for the punishment of a member being reported

3rd offense= 3600s Mute

14. Impersonation
Staff Impersonation of the staff team IS NOT permitted under any circumstances. If you are EVER in doubt of a player being staff be sure to check our staff listing.
a. Player Impersonating other players to deface their reputation or gain some type of advantage in-game is NOT permitted. Please do not assume the identity of anyone other than your own character.
b. This includes leaking players alternate accounts. "Hey guys this is player x on his alt" Please allow people to play without being impeded
Punishment:
1st offence= 3600s mute
2nd offence= 12000s mute
3rd offence= IP mute with appeal
Making an account such as Pixels01, and claiming to be a staff will subject in an instant ban.

15. False Reports
When contacting a staff member with a complaint please verify that you have absolute proof of the rule in question being broken. Please understand that needless reports get in the way of staff helping with legitimate concerns.
a. Creating fake evidence i.e telling a player you'll photoshop or edit his chat to get him punished is unacceptable and could be considered as Blackmailing, should you be caught doing this or reported. Think wisely as this rule is not appealable.
b. Defamation of a player or staff will not be tolerated. Obsessively stating, IE spamming, that a player had scammed you without sufficient proof will be punished

16. Scamming
Any attempt to scam money or items will be dealt with seriously. Scamming is frowned upon by everybody who plays Private Servers or even Runescape itself. If you are caught scamming you will not be given a warning and your account will be banned, the time will depend on severity of the situation and the discretion of the staff who handles it.
a. Rule switching is not permitted during duels. Valid proof (Video Only) is required of this scam in order to have the scammer punished.
b. Whilst at ::dice, we have made it very clear that a middleman must be used. This would include any staff member or a trusted host. For any refunds to be considered or looked into, full video proof from start to finish must be provided
c. Sale of any items that are sold for GP in NPC controlled stores is considered scamming and not allowed.
Punishment:
1st offence= Jailed until items are paid
2nd offence= 1 week ban with appeal.
3rd offence= IP Ban

17. Refunds (Scams, Disconnects etc.)
a. A disconnection due to being ddossed by a player may be refunded with video proof of the DC, items lost, packet display showing it was caused by an illegal act rather than a regular DC.
b. Donations will ONLY be refunded if he/she has NOT been given their items or position (forums, server) after 48 hours, otherwise you are donating entirely at your own discretion.
c. While we will try our best to get your items back, if no middleman is used and you have not followed the guidelines and rules stated on our forums for in-game, it is completely at the staff's discretion who is handling the issue whether you will be refunded or not.
d. Account Sharing is not of our concern and is not against the rules, those who account share should realize that they are subjecting themselves to a greater risk of having the shared account stolen or traded. You have been warned and do so at your own risk and WILL NOT be reimbursed for any losses or damages that resulted from account sharing. (unless an official middleman is used, while having proof and agreement of the service or terms of use of the account.
e. If your account is hacked, we will try our best to return your items too you, however we do not take any responsibility for the security of your own account, you yourself only have your password and bank pin so that responsibility is down to you and refunds will be looked at on a case for case basis

18. Multilogging
a. The max amount of accounts logged in at the same time from an ip address is 3, yet you can't use 3 accounts to gain any advantage in a player vs. player situation, this is limited to 2 accounts above level 20 wilderness.
b. Regardless of the situation maximum of 3 accounts are allowed online from one ip, this is to ensure no unfair advantages are given to players over others, and also helps with the security of your account and others.
c. The maximum number of accounts from the same ip/person/mac allowed in any minigame or at any boss is 1 (A player can have 2 accounts at wildywyrm as long as only 1 account is attacking the boss. If the boss is under level 20 wilderness, you may only have 1 account attacking it as per our rule).
d. The maximum number of accounts allowed within the resource area (Level 53 wilderness) is 1.
Punishment:
1st offence= Warning
2nd offence= Timed jail of the main account
3rd Offence= Pjail of the main account.

19. Evasion of decisions
Once a staff-member has made a decision for your account, or an action you may or may not take such as "can i do this" then the decision is made you are not to do any of the following:
a. Ask various staff for a different response
b. Word the question differently to the staff-member/other staff-members for a varied response
c. Any doing of this will result in an infraction to your account depending on circumstance and severity of the situation. - if you have been punished or warned by a staff-member and you believe they are wrong, you should submit a report in the correct location for staff-members, showing the full conversation unedited, from start to finish
Punishment:
1st Offence: Current punishment will be doubled and continues with more offences.

20. Safe spotting
Safe spotting IS allowed as long as what you're safe spotting is allowed in real runescape.
21. Mini games
a. Leeching
Leeching is not allowed for any reason, under any circumstance within our minigames. This can include but not limited too:
1. Using low level accounts within a combat minigame such as SoulWars, CastleWars.
2. Not partaking in the minigame's objective, such as staying in the same position the entire game or not assisting your team.
3. Being AFK within a minigame, for any reason.
4. Being in a clan and not attacking other members if they are on the opposite team.
5. Castle Wars "Holding enemy flag is acceptable. Holding allied flag is against the rules."Must be returned to the flag stand.
6. If a situation arises where 4 people are present in a game of LMS. DO NOT stand around and watch other people fight. We consider this teaming and is not allowed.
Friend/clan or not, you have someone to attack, do so.
b. AFKING
Afking (not at your client watching/playing) Afking is very similar to leeching, as you do not partake in the minigame and cause your team to do all the work. We have an auto kick system in place if you decide to go AFK. You may NOT however AFK attack barricades, npc's, use an autoclicker to either walk or climb ladders, or stand afk where your timer does not lower such as graveyards in soulwars for example.
c. Farming Rewards
Farming rewards is not allowed in any of our minigames as it makes it unfair to those who play them properly, and spend time to gain their items. This can include, but isn't limited too:
1. Going to a different world with your friends/clan mates to ensure 'tie' games.
2. having your friends/clan split up into 2 teams and not going for the objective to win.
d. Stacking
Stacking is not allowed for any reason, as it takes the fun out of the game for most players. This can include but isn't limited too:
1. Having your clan on one team, whilst other team is unequipped to be a fair game (nex gear vs rune/barrows)
2. We expect you to split your clan up into 2 teams and both sides play for the objective.
3. Use of alternate accounts to gain entry into a specific team that is deemed as the 'winning team' because of players on it.
4. This can also fall under bug abuse in some cases as your evading the system in place for players gaining entry onto teams.
5. Having friends or players join a different team so your able to get onto the 'winning team'.
6. Joining and leaving constantly in green portal to gain entry into the 'winning' team.
If games are 10 v 10 we will allow you to play with friends/clan mates, only against other clans
e. LMS Teaming
1. If a situation arises where 4 people are present in a game of LMS. DO NOT stand around and watch other people fight. We consider this teaming and is not allowed.
Friend/clan or not, you have someone to attack, do so
Punishment:
1st offence: Warning(s)
2nd offence= Timed jail
3rd offence= Minigame ban

Agreement:
By creating an account, you agree in full that you will follow these rules and accept the punishments for breaking them, there will be no exceptions to anyone caught doing so. Please report someone breaking one of these rules with clear evidence to one of our staff-members, and they will handle the situation.
HELP CC RULE BOOK:
1: Buying/selling
There is no buying/selling in "help" cc. This is strictly for new players who need help. We have a "::market" for buying/selling items as well as ::yell
a. Attempting to buy/sell in help cc after warnings can lead to a 10 minute mute for the first offence. Second offence will lead to a longer mute, and eventually kicked or banned from the help cc.
2: Spam
Spamming is a server wide rule, and strictly prohibited in the help cc. This can be "all to pest control" or simply "dds 1b."
a. Spamming 1-2 seconds will lead to an automatic mute with no warnings. This is not necessary. Spamming anything else will lead to a warning. Failure to listen to the warning will result in a 10 minute mute, and eventually kicked/banned from the help cc.
3: Off Topic Conversations
Off topic conversations are not allowed in help cc whatsoever. Please keep conversations in public or private messages. Failure to listen to warnings will result in a 10 minute mute, and kicked/banned from help cc.
4: Trolling
Trolling players who are here for help is strictly frowned upon. This can be giving them wrong information to having them do ::empty resulting in loss of items. As always you will be warned, then muted and eventually kicked/banned from the help cc.
5. Chat Colors
Talking in colors in help cc, is prohibited. Failure to listen to warnings, will result in a timed mute and eventually kicked/banned from the help cc.
6. Languages
The only language to be spoken within help cc is English if you do NOT speak English message a staff member using ::staff for help.
Yell rules:
1. Yell chat is meant for small amount of advertisement.
2. Trolling, flaming, flame-baiting, arguing, or advertising is NOT allowed in yell chat. Any unrelated yells that resolve in drama/issues towards another player or clan will be dealt with accordingly.
3. Yells are there as an additional form of advertisement for our players, rewarding them for voting or donating. They can be easily removed if abused, ensure the rules above are followed at all times to keep the game enjoyable for all. Disobeying these rules will be punished with an ingame mute. If you're about to say something in yell chat and you're not sure if it's allowed or not, ask any in-game staff member and they will provide you with an answer.
4. English Only
Agreement
By being on the forums, you understand that you are responsible for your own actions. You understand that the rules stated above will be enforced at all times and the administration has the ability to further the punishment despite what it states above, this is the administration's discretion. We have permission to do what we want with your account as they are a property of ours and you are merely 'playing' on it. You understand that when a rule is broken, your account will be dealt with accordingly and fairly as possible through the system that we have made for the staff team and how people are dealt with.
You understand that any sort-of attack (hacking, phishing, doxing, DDOS, etc.) made against us will be dealt with accordingly, and you will be IP'd/Mac banned from the forums. If need-be your IP will be sent to the authorities. You understand that Administration Team have the ability and authority to alter your account at any time should we have to or feel we must check something onto one's account and agree that requesting a refund after an Administrator has made an X change is not made. You understand that the Staff Team is not always required to provide proof, however, if we do we will not disclose a member's name (the one that reported you) if the member requests it. Many of the reports made in the report abuse board is hidden for a reason from others, however, we will do our best to provide the proof that we need.
You understand that we are not responsible for what is posted on these forums (while we will take action after it's either reported or we see it) so therefore someone that has been infected through these forums by a third party or by someone of this community, it's not our responsibility but it will be dealt with. So this being said, we are not responsible for ANY damage made to personal property nor information being stolen. Per this section, you understand that inappropriate posts (as said above though, once it's reported or we see it - it will be dealt with) that a child MAY encounter such as pornographic material, promoting drug related topics etc., it's not our responsibility, this is solely the parent's role. All emails or PMs to us by parents will either be replied to with simple words, or ignored and deleted - make no mistake, we will take care of it once reported or seen.
When reporting a member of the community you must provide a full screen picture of the client and computer. We will no longer be accepting reports that have been cut-out, cropped etc., we expect the entire picture to be there; if it's not then we the report. If you happen to have a reason to report a staff member it needs to be video proof, we will no longer accept pictures as proof as it is very easy to falsify proof and we do not need unnecessary drama caused by that. You understand that donations made to the administration are final, and the administration is under no obligation to refund such goods from our services. You understand that actions made by the administration for the donation system and processes are final, and no exceptions are made. You understand that there are little to no refund policies made unless done by an administrator member who can handle these situations themselves. You understand that if a donation is lost through a glitch - it will be refunded, however, if a member is hacked then you understand it is less likely to be refunded to not at all at the discretion of the administrator member (who can handle these type-of situations).
